Depends how you want to be inspired. Reading Dan Walsh has made me want to ride round the world on a motorbike and never, ever go near cocaine, and I'm currently reading The Wild Places by Robert Macfarlane, which is making me want to bugger off somewhere miles from anyone and be a complete hippy.
