Hey does anyone know how to get these old thule bars off? I haven't got the key for the bars anymore but not sure I need them?

Cheers!

You need the key. Once you've unlocked it, the end unscrews, releasing tension on the foot plate.

If you've completely lost the key, the key number is stamped into the lock faceplate and spares are easy enough to get from the internets.

Jam a screwdriver in the key slot and give it a quarter turn. The bit that is attached to the lock pulls out a bit - you then turn that to undo the bolts that hold the rack on.
