No, a big gang of us used to have a 7 day West Highlands winter climbing holiday every year, without fail, for about 15 years. Also a few weekend raids to Cobbler etc. Haven't been for 4 years tho, would love to get up there again, but have to accept odd weekends in Wales/ Lakes these days.
I bet there's a high avalanche risk at the moment?.

Aye...linky...could be worse mind you!

We actually headed down to the Lakes a couple of times last winter (Jan and Feb) to do some rock. It's only 2.5 hours from our house and there's plenty of good low level crags so provided you get a day when the sun's out then it's great. Mrs PF isn't as keen on winter climbing. I've always loved the lakes, but you can't beat a full on Scottish winter 🙂
