I'm down there w/c 18th and need somewhere for 7 people to eat Monday night. Informal - pub grub, but half decent.
Suggestions welcome!

Just nip down to cabots, loads of choice in one place to choose from

Yep Cabot Circus has all the chains. Old Market St is LGBT+ friendly. The Old Market Assembly is very nice and does pizza on Mondays. Left Handed Brewery do pizza. A really nice italian is Marco's Olive Branch. If you want a traditional pub there is The Phoenix nearby or the Old Fish Market is a Fullers and walkable through the castle park, I've not eaten at either.
