"She was nice...."
I literally fell off the sofa (a few glasses of a robust red may have helped)

Followed in the next episode..
"Sorry I poured three pints of strong European lager over you last time we met. It was an accident.

That's OK it happens all the time"

Only last night, as I played the theme tune to my daughter at bedtime I googled to see if it's all available on DVD (it is except the Christmas special). And then I read about the possibility of a third series, but nothing had happened in 2016.

And now this! Hope they don't spoil the perfection the first two series achieved.

Given that I've never seen this and it gets a lot of love on STW,

Do I need to start from the beginning? (There were films before the series, wasn't there?)

Teetosugars is right on both counts.

It's slow TV. It has a certain rhythm and pacing all of its own. Gentle, slow and beautiful. Well worth the investment of your time, however.

I'm sitting here watching a Northern Exposure DVD. Suddenly it is all clear. Looking forward to it.

Local Hero is more of the same I reckon.

Brilliant.

I love it, just really well crafted TV.

And series 1 had the best use of an expletive ever.

Very happy news - thanks for that!

Quick reminder - seasons 1 and 2 both on Netflix at the minute.

'Orses?'

*Edit (spoiler removed for those lucky ppl playing catchup)

'Thick as two short plonks'

'Planks'

'You're welcome'

I'd put it up there with Fawlty towers

Brilliant. I'll re-watch the first two series in the run up to the third.

After last series' shocking revelation that pork scratchings are unsuitable for vegetarians, I am eager to know what new insights await us in season 3?
