Oh you bastard. How much did that set you back?

I'm fully expecting this to be a historical concert.

Oh, her! Thanks for the nudge, I didn't recognise the name but I absolutely know who she is. That's excellent.

I had tickets to the Foos in London which cost me a lot more. That obviously got cancelled but when this was announced those who previously had tickets for 24 hours advance access, this I paid about £95 a ticket. I wasn't sure at first, kind of felt it wouldn't be the same bit also knew if was going to be a one off

Blimey.

I had tickets for Manchester, I don't recall whether we had the same offer but if we did I missed it. Enjoy.

I tried getting tickets for this for me and my daughter the second the tickets went live.
I knew it was a lost cause when my queue number was 70500!

@couger I think I might have had to register interest but can't remember. You ended up in a massive electronic queue but for once it was well managed and went pretty quickly.

It'll be interesting to see what format this takes

also had tickets & got the same offer, not actually that fussed though! I wanted to watch the Foos play, not all these other dudes 😂 (Although it would be cool to watch Brain May tickle the old axe in person, never seen him before.) I will get around to watching the stream at some point though, and I'm sure it'll be great.

Yeah it does sound like a real one-off, the kind of thing it'd be great to be able to say "I was there". Not sure about actually being there though 😃 Long old day if you've got a povvo standing ticket, plus how much will you actually be able to see at Wembley unless you fight your way right to the front?

Looks epic, I'll certainly be watching that (and probably a number of times).

Cheers for the heads up.

Top tip: watch out for The Struts, and Luke Spiller their front man who is rumoured to be performing with Queen... They are far and away the best British glam rock band you've never heard of (tho they're big in the USA) and Luke is the real deal. Us fans have been desperate for him to get together with Queen since, well, forever 🙂

Too short a set by TCV, I could have listened to them all evening.

Is it all going to be 3 song sets? Makes sense with everyone wanting to pay tribute.

I didn't recognise Justin Hawkins for a moment, but great so far.

My daughter (9, drummer) is impatiently waiting for Nandi. Could be a late bedtime!

Took me a beat. I was thinking "is that his brother or... ah, oh, yes, right."

Had tickets. Caught covid. Had to sell them on last night. Gutted but at least it’s being streamed live.

Load-out times between bands are bit of a downer between sets, at least when watching this at home. I wish they had more videos or anything playing during those.

I'm assuming it's allowing for ad breaks in other streams.
