+2.

All it takes is a bit of understanding on both parts.

For the hard of thinking and oldnpastit.

In the Peak District, filmmaker Richard Macer follows the story of a campaign to stop mountainbikers riding along the local villages' bridleways

LOL at the clip showing the Kinder trespass. Wonder if the walkers protesting about the 4x4's & 'crossers realise the irony.

EDIT: That copper is a right ****!

I liked the old biddy looking at the rocks in the trail saying that it was dangerous for cyclists ๐Ÿ˜€

Cavalcades of 4x4s or trail bikes are noisy, smelly and intimidating. For me, it takes away all the pleasure to be had from a day out in the countryside on foot or on a bike. I've given up going to the Peak District as I just know I'll end up with a convoy of high powered bikes or cars roaring past me, usually on a bridleway, not even a BOAT.

Silly comparison. Someone on an MTB puts out a maximum power of about 2 horsepower, and that only for a minute or two. A nice big off-road vehicle will be kicking out a hundred times more than that, and can do so all day long if it has to.

join up, stop them going after us next.

I won't be joining. Sorry.

It seems crazy that by putting a layer of tarmac over a trail absolves any conflict.. ๐Ÿ˜•

You can only move people around, not heard them in to corners like sheep..
