I think I have thought of a great name for an incoming 'new class of product'. It might be the next big thing, it might very well not.
It's a single word, not found in the dictionary and essentially descriptive of the 'new class of product' that could only really be used as a name for that 'new class of product'.
How can I potentially monetise the name?
I don't have a business making that type of product so presumably trademark is a non starter.
Copyright presumably is for more involved series of words rather than just one carefully misspelled word.

Register it as a trademark and license it to someone - registration costs depends on the number of classes you register it in, but starts at £500 for UK and the same again for every country you register it in. Do an online search first because companies in certain sectors do lots of registrations to protect their existing brands and for future product developments - brands will deliberately register similar words to ensure that someone doesn't attempt to do what you're doing.
