Strangely, +1. It's attached to my BCD, so in the loft for 50 weeks of the year. Hasn't rusted. Sharp every time I get it out.
+2 for the yellow lomo for the same reason as jumdub. attached to bcd so regularly immersed in salt water and no rust.

Tell me, I am an old and out of touch sort of chap, when did BDH containers become BCD's? I am assuming we are talking about those black things that originally held chemicals that paddlers use to stop their butties from going soggy.

I have two - one in buoyancy aid and one in work bag.
Does it need to be a rescue knife? What about a small fixed blade or does it need to be EDC?
Might be worth checking what your employer's policy is on self-provided safety knives..
Well after a bit of research, I went for the Ontario rat 2, it's not a rescue knife it's an everyday carry pocket knife. Good point on the employer's policy, lets just say it's not encouraged.
