Ah yes. The Fantastic Britten. Remember seeing them racing at Snetterton in the early to mid nineties and then seeing one in the museum in Wellington. RIP John Britten.

RIP Mark Farmer.

It's an Armstrong-Siddeley Whitley (also mine). I got it for peanuts with a frost cracked engine block. Got some special high temp epoxy from Ciba-Geigy, smashed the cracked bits off and then glued it all back together. 🙂 (Yes, it worked).

The Norton Inter was a mate's. It used to frustrate him that my wee Triumph could blow him away, but it was so light I could lift it off the ground.

And more recently

I did 10,000miles on this one when I was in Oz last year

Motorbike equivalent of an Orange Five, you see frikkin' loads of them and they are way over the top for the ride they're being used on

😉

I know, I know..... 🙄

I made a huge mistake test riding one and instantly falling head over heels with it.

I really love the boxer engines and I'm not old enough to ride an 'RT' or 'R' yet 🙂
