If I reinstall iTunes, will it wipe all the music I've got on my laptop?

Dealing with iTunes is like making love to a beautiful woman, it will often say one thing and do the total opposite. Never talk to you again but still popping up occasionally to in an attempt to ruin your life

Reinstalling iTunes is something you do everytime one of their bloody updates comes out, so you'll be fine. If you're worried about losing the iTunes database, you can back that up first -
Just look for the iTunes folder under "My Music" and copy that somewhere else. (Presuming it's not actually where you keep your music files)
