Paypal- anyone bought anything in Europe recently (Euros rate/any charges?)
Now anyone used recently and any pitfalls (i.e. additional 'exchange' charges?).
What euro v £ rate did they charge you?

I paid pounds from €uros and got slightly over 0.8. Paid 10 quid and lost 12,00€ from paypal.

I paid the Powder & Dust dudes via paypal.
They just sent me the xchange rate calculator they used.
No problems really. I dont remember any issues with charges and the like but no doubt there was something.

I use paypal for purchases from France at least once a week. The exchange rate fluctuates a bit, but hovers around 90p per Euro. As far as I'm aware - i think I'd notice - there's no additional charge for "changing".
