Old school hard men.

reminds me of the classic bike film a sunday in hell. something about watching old cycling footage i find great to watch. i also love the classic old steel racing bikes too.
those guys are tough for sure.
amazing.
Look at the state of the cobbles under kellys front wheel. ๐ฏ
Just looking at them makes my hands hurt.

yes, and not even on knobblies
I remember Moser's victory in 1978 - World of Sport would show brief clips of races, about the only time you ever saw bike racing on UK TV. Longed for a wet P-Rx like Schmil in 1994 - don't think we've had a 'wet' one this century.
Love those..anyone know how I go about buying the rights to get one on my wall?
Bernard hinault was amazing. Paris roubaix is Something else. The speeds they go through the arenberg and it's sketchy as ****.

If you want 'nails' how about the 1982 Liege-Bastogne-Liege? - Hinault cleared-off up the road on his own in the snow:
Hinault won Liege-Bastogne-Liege in 1980 not 82, only 21 riders finished the race out of over 170 starters! He got a degree of frostbite in his right hand and only got movement back after a few weeks & when I met him at a wedding in Yffiniac in 1996 he said his hand still troubled him from time to time along with his knees.
