Anyone used these paper log makers ... any good? Do the paper bricks burn hot, or just crumble to ash?

If successful, any recos?

Ta

+1 Shorty121

It took weeks and a couple of bags of paper to make one brick that burns for about 1hr. really is not worth the time.

That reminds me. I must dig mine out of the shed.

They work OK if you can be bothered with all the faff of making and drying them. Ours burned for about 3 to 4 hours each.

remember my dad getting one of these about 20 years ago. Waste of time. Seem to remember him finding the whole thing quite 'upsetting' 😆

I've got one, problem I found is drying them out. Not used it much since. a lot of faff.

Use several KWH drying out ugly damp sod, - then watch it smolder miserably.

Never tried it mind you, I'm airing a pre-conceived bias. - They are a load of rubbish.

I've only ever seen one used as a crude cider press. Worked quite well for that.
