Are they all the same shape?
I need a new one for our bath and I have no idea what make the bath is.

Pretty much yeah unless your bath is a brand name one i.e. Ideal Standard/Twyford etc. They all come out of the same factories in the far east by the container load then get bunged in a flashy brochure with an enormous markup.
