Can anyone recommend a good glue for use on outside wood? I've wedged wood between a fence panel and post as it's difficult to hammer due to the location. The wood is steady but I'm looking for a kind of glue just to add some extra strength. Thanks
One of the slightly expanding PU glues like Gorilla Glue*
*pretty it that is PU but it is certainly weatherproof
As WCA says, a D4 PU glue of some sort
Pu is the way messy if you over use it.
Yeah it takes a bit of practise to use PU glue in terms of how much to apply, but when it expands out of the joint, as long as you just leave it and don't wipe, it'll foam up and generally be pretty easy to remove when set.
Epoxy can be good too, as can Titebond 3.
PVA?
Pu glue but if you get it on your clothes it will never ever come off. Treat it with utmost respect would be my advice.

This.... Taping up with masking tape the area you want to protect/where the glue might run is also worth five minutes of your time.
Gorilla Glue appears to turn white in the rain. Won't matter if not visible of course (unlike my cack handed usage where I didn't clean up some glue squeeze).
I would have thought epoxy would be the answer here but I use Gorilla for quite a lot of stuff and it's pretty good.
PVA?
PVA isn't waterproof enough for outside long term
