I've got premier pro 7 and I'm trying to import .mov files. When i try it though, it just hangs - the box comes up saying "importing source files" but then it seems to just stop. I can still cancel things etc, but there's no progress on the actual importing.
Any suggestions?
Vista home premium
2gb
quicktime pro 7 installed.

I've never used it, but does it perhaps do an amount of pre-processing before it starts? Ie, you just need to wait longer?
Try with a different .mov in case the one you have is corrupt? Find a small one to test it with?

done both - nothing doing.
I've worked with video before but never generally apple formats on a PC. It could well be a patience thing but I'm curious as to whether anyone else has experienced it
