needing to replace my ageing Musto kit and the Decathlon stuff looks good value and quality at half the price of Musto/Gill/Henri LLoyd etc - any experiences ?

Although I don't know anything about sailing kit all the Decathalon kit I've had has been great.

Although I haven't bought the same stuff I've bought loads of stuff from there and everything is top quality and wouldn't hesitate to buy it. I've got £000's of stuff from there and never regretted anything I've bought.

The missus has one for use as a general waterproof, looks and feels to be good quality, keeps the rain out, warmth in, and seems to breath well too.

It's not quite as good as the Musto jacket I lost, but 95% as good for 1/6th of the price was hard to argue with.

Iain,

I got a CR900 smock, (can't see it on the website now), which has been just as good as musto, HH, HL racing jackets previously owned. Dunno how long it will last, but good shape and in its first year of racing didn't let me down. I needed a size bigger than i thought and took ages to get a different size ordered, not sure what their after sale service would be like, came in a very cheap bag...quite happy I spend half of what I would on a "named brand".

Some of the bigger names have gone too far into the fashion market for my liking and I won't touch them now..... HH and HL being the main culprits. Musto are still hanging in there.
Those prices look good though..... I wonder if they're made by one of the bigger co's and just rebranded?
