Back in the day, when I were a lad I used Raichle Flexon's ski boots, and they were by far the best boots I ever used. Sadly Rauchle went bust, and I thought the boots had gone.

However, not long back when googling I found that some crafty person bought the molds, and is now selling the boots under the brand Full Tilt.

Does anyone here use them? I am more interested as to whether the inner is up to scratch? I think its great that a 30 year old boot design is available again. ๐Ÿ™‚

I've tried them on but not used them.
I was at Rivington Alpine having some boots fitted and he reckoned that, while the Full Tilt is marketed at Freestyle Skiing, it might help with a foot shape issue I have.
Unfortunately it didn't.

I've not used them, but they are a very reputable and popular brand, especially among freeride/freestyle skiers. If that's the king of skiing you enjoy then I'm sure they'd live up to their old, and new reputation. I found them too wide for my girly-thin and long feet! The 'last' goes down to 99mm IIRC.

No, but I have got a few old pairs of Fexon Comps in my parents house if you want them, one of them have a leather liner which my dad made for his! They were great boots at the time, but the foot buckle took a pounding if you did gates in them.

TheDT's thanks for the offer, but unless they are size 27.0 they will be too big!

Besides the plastic does soften over the years. They do sell new inners and spare parts that will fit the boots if you want to keep using them.

They are 'marketed' in a specific way to get niche sales, fact is they are bloody good boots. Many top racers were sad to see Raichle go. The new boots are just the same, just some come with softer tongue's. They flex differently to other boots

never skied in them, but we sold a few while i was a boot fitter. generally regarded as having an incredibly comfortable inner, if they fit your feet. i found the buckle system annoying and the looks a bit meh.

Sweamrs has them. Finds them very comfortable but they were fitted by a professional boot fitter so you would hope so. Easier to get in / out than some other makes because of the tongue design.
