I'm getting very tempted by an Operation Raleigh expedition as a 25+ Expedition Leader (or some such role). Has anyone here done it and have good / bad experiences to share?

EDIT: Or done / can suggest things of a similar ilk...

Hi Jimmy, I went as a 'venturer' when I was younger, I went to Mongolia 1992, I continued to travel until about 2001, and still today, 'Raleigh' is still the single most outstanding adventure I think I've ever had. It was not always easy, and was sometimes extremely challenging, but as far as your Personal Development is concerned, I can see NO good reason why you wouldn't at least explore the idea further. I noticed a mail above from Raleigh, and so hopefully you are on your way to discovering the possibilities of an EXTREMELY hard to replicate adventure. All the best, good luck!! S
