Hi all, I’m starting a new (small one man) business that will need an appointment making software. Google brings up hundreds so I wondered if anyone has any first hand recommendations.
Preferably:
Online booking
Auto text reminders
Sends info to person regarding appointment
Also be nice to have:
Some kind of telephony, person can ring a number to book, if no answer, leave a message, sends email to alternative number to call back.
THANKS!!!!
Likely to use Calendly on a project soon. Seems to me the best option for our needs.
Calendly and MS Bookings both seem to work Ok (calendly is slightly simpler but if you need an MS 365 account and will be using outlook as your main tool Bookings is included) I don’t think either have a phone option. If someone needs to phone it may be because they want advice on the service (eg do I need a 30 or 60 min appointment for this) in which case I’m not sure a generic call centre will be able to help.
Not sure if its industry specific but my barber started using Booksy during Covid and he said its transformed his business. As a punter, its dead easy to use, get reminders, add calendar entries etc.
my barber uses setmore , and I think it does everything you want
Thanks good info!
My brother is a developer for these guys: https://youcanbook.me
Apparently they have a free plan which is pretty good.
Brilliant thanks ct18
I have a little barber shop and use Nearcut, its made my life very flexible and the tech support is brilliant.
Thanks Mugboo
Looking at it some systems combine appointment, point of sale and credit card payment machines and processing, I need all this stuff really. wondering whether to start a 'small business start-up thread' but google and see if there is one.
