[#7146519]

Hi all,
Ive given my missus' old Macbook to her Dad, its currently running Mountain Lion, as thats the newest version it can get to.
Trouble is her Dad is a music buff, and was looking for garageband, but when Ive tried to buy it in the mac store it cant run the new version ๐Ÿ™

Ive tried everywhere to find the older version including torrent sites etc, but no luck.

Can anyone suggest where I could get the older version? Not sure if it came on the ilife09 CD? Or even if that would run with Mountain Lion?

Even prepared to buy a copy off someone if anyone has a copy?

You might find a copy of iLife 11 on a torrent somewhere, I think that was what shipped with Mountain Lion?

Soulds like you're sorted from BBS's link. Email me (in profile) if you want me to have a go with getting an iso/dmg off the disk.

Hmm, Ive tried downlaoding 5.1 but it seems that this is just an update for an installed version, rather than a full install ๐Ÿ™

Unless you know of a different way BBS?

Failing that, are you still okay to let me have an ISO somehow Euain?

It's 2GB for GarageBand, 3.6 or something for the whole pkg file. Not really feasible on my rural ADSL I'm afraid.
