There have been some fairly mixed reviews of the new 12 Mac Books, see macrumours link here

@wysiwyg that is one of the main gripes. TBH we still frequently use Ethernet cable as we find WiFi unreliable not sure what we'd do with newer computers.

Is nice. I'd go MBP though, mostly because the stuff that bothered the reviewers would bother me too. If you want a bigger, more capable Air, in gold, then it looks ideal 🙂

It would go nicely with my gold plated Lambo:

Me, all the time for external displays, projection at events, external drives, taking footage from cameras, charging phones and action cameras, tethering on the road, working with microcontrollers.

Sorry, did you want me to talk dirty? Ok, *ahem*

There are a lot of times I need more than one thing plugged in at once.

photographers/videographers who need thunderbolt in/out for SSD’s/raids/fast card readers/camera tethering/wacom tablets/external monitors etc

this MBP is just a fashion item for rich students and pretend creatives, those who need a mac workhorse to get stuff done will mostly use a 13/15in retinaMBP.
