beginning to snow here in the southern region, forecast 10-12cms

No sign of anything on the northern flanks but may take some time getting over the peaks to us. Not sure wheither too be excited about the prospect of some proper snow or not, though our trip to afan tomorrow looks to be going out the window

hopefully there won't be that much that leaving by the window is the only option!

Base camp level update - light sleet. Recent reports above the tree line are all Col's now blocked, and alpine refuge huts cut off until first light.

As far as i know, although i reckon at this rate all lifts and the new Gondola will be out of action tomorrow.

More snow forecast tomorrow, expected white outs at higher altitudes - batten down the hatches!

Its pretty bad on the Italian / French riviera at the mo, about 2foot 20km up the valley, but sanrolomol at 900m 2km inland is a foot under snow!
