My FiL die, very depressing, but strangely an honour to be there for him, standing around the bed watching the short, rasping last breaths thinking is that it. Two day decline to the end point.
As The Specials sang, enjoy yourself, it's later than you think!

Good on you for being there. From comments when my mum died it is not as common as I thought.
