Seen these on the Snow and Rock website but there's not much info and they don't seem to appear on the North Face's own site. Anyone know anything about them?

It might be a new spring 2015 product that Snow and Rock has temporary exclusivity on, which would explain why it's not on the TNF site or anywhere else for that matter. I guess the name is a sort of stealth homage to classic Scandinavian tunnels from the likes of Hilleberg.

None of which helps much...

There are a couple of other online suppliers that have them too, so dunno what's going on there... They seem suspiciously cheap for TNF!

TNF higher end expedition tents are still brilliant. Their lower spec offerings aren't built to the same standard. They're probably using a Norse sounding name to fool punters but it ain't no Hilleberg.
CheapTents.com in Warrington have more details on the website. I'd avoid it.

Have a look at lightwave tents, or maybe one of those new AlpKit ones

I'm coming from a Macpac Olympus and I'm under no illusions that anything around £200 is going to be up to the same standard but I can't really justify that much tent these days.

Other one that's caught my eye is a Vaude Mark L- anyone got one?

EDIT I've seen the Alpkit ones but the lighter ones seem to have a pretty much all-mesh inner which I'm not keen on.

Based on my own experience I'd say avoid them like the plague. There are lots of happy customers but also lots of unhappy ones which suggests design and QC issues.

If you've only got £200 then Wild Country are a sensible option.
