Hi guys,
Bit of a long shot here,
I have coming to me soon a 1990 200SX S13 (the one with pop up lights). It is currently having work done to it so off the road at the moment.
Wandering if anyone elce on here has one and uses it to move their bike?
if so how do you do it because it is a coupe? Roof rack? boot rack? inside?
chris
Seats fold down I think. I used to be able to just about squeeze my bike into my s14 200sx like this.
In the background my neighbours drift 200

(he does vinyl wrapping, hence the subtle finish)
My brother has one (S14A) (was at SITS this weekend) and he can get his 'Dale trail bike in there with the wheels out. Its cramped but it does fit, although he has to put it on the passenger seat with the wheels out. think he may have a rack now though
Think the S13 might be a bit easier as it has a bigger tailgate, where as the S14 is a saloon with a tiny boot.
They are ace. Although a Celica GT4 is more acer.

Really? I thought the GT4 felt a bit flat and slow - maybe I had a go in a duff one?

Not enough RWD ๐
also my 200sx has a RB25DET Skyline engine running nearly 400 bhp

That should be a laugh on wet roundabouts!
yup, get done by 1 litre corsa's and saxos in the wet lol ๐ณ
i take the mrs audi if its wet if i can.
Ahh, happy memories...
Yep, there's quite a bit of room in the back, I fitted enough kit in mine for weekend camping and riding in Wales (two people + two bikes, tent and some junk).
If you're using it for entertainment purposes and strip the rear seat effect bench out you'll be even better off...
I had a lightly modified s14 a few years ago and had no trouble getting a bike in the back so a s13 with it's hatch should be no problem. I still occasionally think about getting another but what with the rust issues and not having a garage it's just not sensible.
I'd presume you're a sxoc member but if not it's an amazing resource.
yep been on sxoc for a while, this is my 6th s13 but first since i have had a propper bike.
one of my old s13's was a fully striped 310bhp (CA18DET) beast.
Used to drive a Silva (1.8 turbo forerunner to the 200sx) which was great fun in the wet. Managed to fit a friend's entire record collection (12" EPs) in the boot when she moved house and, on another occasion, a pair of flight-cased Technics 1210s, a mixer and about 100 EPs.
A bike should not be a problem, but you would need to take the wheels off at the least, or get a roof rack. Or a tow bar.
i think a roof rack (if i could get one) would look cool on a s13.
at least its not very far to lift the bike, only about chest level at a push!
I always used to want one of those. Unfortunately the only ones that you seem to find these days are all advertised as drift cars. I don't want a drift car I want a rear wheel drive turbo car.
I want this one.
