After a new lid, don't want to spend a fortune say 50 quid mark. Any real world reviews appreciated. Got a giro at the moment which is good but I find the peak too low.

Uvex XP100. Cheap, light AND strong. Good adjustment to cope with different shaped heads and easy tensioning to cope with buff-on/buff-off days.

Timely question, I was going to ask the same thing.

Specifically, I'm looking for a well-vented summer helmet that, unlike my current one, doesn't make me sweat like a Libyan roof tiler.
