Wouldn't be wandering off the roads down there to find single track, too many landmines. No joke,
Also might run over a penguin!
A pal worked as the judge there, sounded mental in a good way.
The Falklands is most miserable, depressing place I have ever been.
Winston_dog, clearly you have never been to Slough.

In the late 80's I was there for there winter ( 4 frigging months ) and Winston Dog is right, I could not wait to get back to the UK and I lived in Swinedoom at the time ๐ฏ
I was only there 3 weeks.
I was actually depressed. A couple of workmates mentioned the change in my behaviour. Some people take to alcohol, I actually drank less then normal, just couldn't be bothered!
I am used to crappy living conditions and spend a lot of my working life offshore on barges etc. The Falklands were something else.
Never again.
Spent 4 months down there and never want to go back!! Bleak as a bleak thing.
