her indoors is tiring of her current Ben Hur-esque Spotify playlist and is looking for new bands to listen too. Current faves are Ed 'the ginga' Sherian, Mozzer, Stone Roses, Gotye, Adele and everything inbetween. Your suggestions please... Tunes to run too will score bonus points.

The Vaccines seem good for riding to, no idea if they are truly indie though. Kind of a cross between the Ramones and Editors.

Cheers. Obviously a man of impeccable taste! ๐Ÿ˜€ Never got to see The Music but would have loved to.

For tunes to run too you might want to go a bit outside 'indie' music.

Chemical Brothers
Daft Punk
Monkey Mafia
Vitalic
The KLF

And more 'indie'

Yeasayer
White Rabbits
The XX
The National Bank

is looking for new bands

See that "new bands". NEW. New, not old 80s/90s past it shit and probably on a comeback tour supporting Howard Jones.

What's the point of listing old crap that she'll know about anyway?

Hmph.

'New bands' that she's possibly never heard of or 'new bands' that have only recently come onto the scene? Open to interpretation.

Sorry Dez. Only trying to help.
I've tried not to but I'm dying to ask; did you end up getting some sexy time with your friend?

Sorry dez, I must have you mistaken. There was a thread (now deleted; perhaps thanks in part to me ) about a chap who loved his friend. The friend suggested sexy time to "get it over with". I think he got a bit dazzled and ran away. I neeeeeed to know what happened.
I honestly though it was you. Apologies.
