sans David Attenborough. There's few voiceover people I can really "get", they don't sound right (nothing to do with their academic qualifications).

I have to admit that while watching the Wild Scotland series I have really liked Ewan McGregor, would mind him doing more.

Who should be DA's eventual replacement in bbc docs?

Hmmm....not sure. voices are such a personal thing. One area where BBC have got it REALLY wrong recently is on Horizon. They had Jen from the IT Crowd narrate a recent episode that was about alternate universes. I just could not take her seriously. Sounded like Philomena Cunk. Ewan Mcgregor is good.

Bernard Hill is pretty good. I liked his narration of Wild China.
