Looking to go here for a weekend but struggling to find anywhere close to stay. Can anyone recommend accommodation close by.

It's not that far to Aberystwyth. Plenty of options there. Some good places to eat and drink too. They had a few streets closed off for outside space. There's a few locals doing Airbnb in normal times, but probably not right now.

Something in Machynlleth?

Nant 30 min south
Coed y Brenin 30 min north
Dyfi stuff on your doorstep
Aberdyfi down the road for fish and chips on the beach

Llanddewi Brefi?
Although, thinking about it, it is local accommodation for local people...
It’s also where my late partners best friend lives!

I'm assuming that you willbe driving there.

How long is your visit? Are you hoping to visit any other places?

Aberystwyth has loads of places to stay and is about 30 mins max away.

Machynlleth is about an hour's drive away but is the base for the Dyfi/Mach trails (which link to te NyA trails). Machynlleth is approx. equidistant(ish) from NyA and CyB.

Stayed here with a couple of mates last year. https://lletyceiro.com/
Very nice for the price with the added benefit of being at the end of a road so no passing foot traffic to nose in the cars and help themselves.
The Rhydypennau Inn nearby does a huge steak and awesome puddings.

Aberystwyth is your best bet. If you're going to N.Y.A. I recommend doing the long trail there, I think it's called Syfidrin or something. A proper big day out in the hills.
