Sorry for the context of the bike. Aweful song, noticed the video in a shop today.
Im aware the bike is a Matchless but cannot put my decide on the model.
Maybe a 40's G3, or a G80s?
Any classic bike whizz kids!?
Cheers!
Looks like a G3 to me.
Lovely little bikes, I'd have one in a shot if I could afford it...
yep its a G3 rigid series but it has been "bobbed"
i restored a matchless with my dad when i was a teenager. amazing thing with Jampots (big fat dashpots!) so a bit later than NeYo's one
the bloke who sold it to us had half restored motorbikes in every room of his house. ours was in beer crates stacked up in the outside loo! looked great once we'd finished it - i'll post a pic if i can find one
I must be getting old. I had to turn the sound off and then all I could think of was 'I hope that bird doesn't scratch the tank with those heels' ๐ฏ
Woody, you aren't old, sane perhaps.

It looks like it may have the CS motor and be the scrambles model- couldn't see it close enough. I don't think it's been "bobbed" as such - we used to cut the rear mudguard like that for scrambles.
I had one over 40 years ago - now I want another ๐
