Have my bike and rear mech in bits here waiting for a delivery from oneup via hermes.

Email confirmation says delivery due on the 24th Dec but the tracking number isn't working.

Will the package come tomorrow or am I destined to spend the whole of
Christmas sulking?

Parcel delivered when we were away with note saying "in blue bin".

Bin was emptied before we got back. Parcel nowhere to be seen, presumably chewed up and landfilled….

Muppets.

Best put my bike back together.

Well, Royal Mail failed to deliver a parcel on Monday despite it being on their guaranteed service. Not the end of the world but they didn't leave a card.
So far, via email and Twitter I have been able to confirm that the parcel is at my local sorting office, that there was no delivery attempt made and that I can't collect it without the card. Which they didn't leave because they didn't even come out to me, a whole 3 miles away from the depot. Waiting to see where this goes throughout today but not expecting much...

Aren't hermes the ones who tried to throw a parcel over a house, in order to get it into someone's garden? It got stuck on the roof.

“@benjamin1980: Thanks @myhermes for delivering my parcel so it's 20ft high stuck to the roof! Great care taken! #Hermes http://twitter.com/benjamin1980/status/497737791166750720/photo/1”

If Hermes are reading this, I have my own ladders and would be more than happy for you to leave my parcel in my gutter if it meant I got it today.

Yours in hope, bluearsedfly from Bolton.
