I once saw Vic and Bob being interviewed by Paul Morley about "Vic Reeves Big Night Out". Vic was explaining how the line between his comedy and "performance art" was very thin. "I mean", he said with a sly sideways twinkle in his eye, "if you go to a Joseph Beuys exhibition, it's just pieces of felt...".
Bob just looked completely confused and didn't seem to know what Vic was on about...
At the time, Vic had a car in his garden. Buried half-way, nose downward.
