Saw one on the way home from work today, wow it looked great. Dont remember them looking good.

my mk3 was bloomin rubbish. My dad's mk2 gt on the other hand was luvvly.

I read somewhere that at the height of their fame and wealth Bono had a bright yellow MkIII cortina for driving around dublin, I hated him a little less when i discovered that.
I like the facelift grille on some models.

They looked awful in their day no mistake but, the Tawny Brown Metalic one on the Tv progarm Life on Mars does look great by modern standards.

I had the 2.0 GLX in metallic brown with a black vinyl roof and four headlights. Purchased as a write off from Eagle star. Battery went fizz and melted a few things. Great car but bloody heavy on juice.
