Er, yes I know probably not what you expected someone to be asking about on singletrack. But I recently brought a knifeset with one included. Though unexpected to find a Chinese meat cleaver.
Now, can anyone tell me where I can get a proper meat cleaver for cutting/chopping dead bodies ahem I mean the frozen pork and large cuts of beef, and chicken etc. The blade on the western typs aren't sharp whereas the Chinese cleavers are sharp but shouldn't be used for cutting bone.
Go here if you don't know the difference but may be able to help ๐
I got mine from China Town in Manchester. It get used for all duties. I don't know where you get your differentiations from. I'll speak to my mates and find out what they use for cutting bone...
Look after your knives and they'll be there for you.
Cheers, how much was yours? If you mind me asking..
Do you use it for cutting chickens? Or only cooked meats and veg?
