[#3913958]

We used to go to the Krobar on Oxford rd here in Manchester and sometimes on a Friday they'd have a girl playing a guitar and signing (she also did the odd food festival in St Peters Square)..

Well anyway shes going to be big! I knew it 😀

Good luck to her.

BTW Is this guy still about?

I've not driven into Manchester in the rush hour for five years now so I haven't seen him.

Good point, I've not seen him for years. He used to grin as you drove past.

What about the old fella that used to play the spoons on Market Street outside the Arndale. He should have been signed years ago. Then, to be fair, he probably died years ago...

I miss this guy, who used to always be outside Boots by the Arndale:

Changed his name to Marc Bolan by deed poll 😀

I remember him 😀

I should imagine living next door to him would be a pain.

We live next door to a family of City fans. They are well spoken but when the footie is on it sounds like a rabid Manc-accent argument going on 😆

No sign of Sabi Rock man – I used to see him all the time.

I have seen a drunk busking with one of those plastic guitar hero guitars, quite funny he really goes for it.

Anyone seen those XFactor-style wannabe singer(s) down the side of Arndale?

Jeesus Napalm wouldn't be enough.

How many young hopefuls have had to "work" Chris de Bleugh to get on in the industry?

I miss this guy, who used to always be outside Boots by the Arndale:

this guy never had a tuned (even vaguely) guitar when I passed him.

Looked kinda cool but just strummed like he was jonesing for his next fix and rambled nothing coherant into the street.

I bet he earned more from busking than I ever did though 😀

The blues/rock fella that sits between M&S and Zara/FrenchConn is pretty handy on the old guitar too...

Not seen Mr Sabi Rock for ages either...
