You know when a toddler wants to create a shock factor by running into a room and shouting POO-PANTS at the top of his voice. Thats Hora on a football thread, basically

Lets talk again Saturday evening. Then maybe I can repeat the two managers names so far...

Moyes was harmed by two major factors IMHO

1. Martinez improved everton both in style and results so this made Moyes look worse than he did when he signed

2. Man U played utter shit - not even having a go stuff and he did not seem to get teh Man U way or be up to the task of being favourites - ie he could make a poor ish team hard to beat he could not make a team world class

3. You forgot the chips!

His own too: Some bizarre tactics/squad choices too.

Ah...okay.

Gilberto Silva came after Viera.

Do you know, I was really peed off to see Alex Song leave us, as for me he was our best player for a couple of seasons and Flamini just doesn't cover the back four like he did. That worked out well for him didn't it?

Man U will do well to finish in the top half with that defence and LVGs formation.

He will be given time to solve this but he'll need to splash the cash in January to entice decent defenders to join a team no longer in Europe.

As a Chelsea supporter (ahem) I'd like to add a note of realism to those who think we are about to walk it. At the moment we can attack well and defend well..unfortunately not at the same time. The city game show that defensively we can stop anyone when we put our minds to it, but as soon as we go for it we are likely to concede.
Still gonna finish above Utd, of course.

Probably not worth going down the bookies with that one.

Until he forgot what his job was and kept buggering off up the wrong end of the pitch leaving us wide open at the back.

Well played Saints.

Some Arsenal players, who bitch about not get game time, need to have a word with themselves. As they had their chance tonight, but did naff all.

Despite the fact they steal our children and (nearly) always beat us - (the radio says it's the anniversary of Bergkamp's first arsenal goals against us) I've still always liked arsenal. Well, since Wenger made them the Prem's foppish poets anyhow, Bruce Rioch's arsenal not so much.

Mayhap the sight of the saints midfield titans brushing past the arsenal midgets might nudge wenger toward buying the defensive midfielder the team desperately needs (keep your filthy hands off Schneiderlin! And Wanyama and Corky come to think of it)

Since we signed him there's been rumours that either he was destined for arsenal, or arsenal already secretly owned him and had lent him to us to develop. When he goes, if it isn't to one of the massive Euro teams, it'd be nice to see him at arsenal just to **** spurs off! (If they'd be nice enough to follow Liverpool's lead and take a reasonable sum & double it then that would be super too.)

I know what you did there jamie even if no one else does ๐Ÿ˜‰

Funny as surely Arsenal are everyones second team ...i never thought who Gooners would have to choose
No one would sign 1-0 to the arsenal anymore
Fair play to the saints sold shed loads of players but still delivering

It should be clearer by the January window whether there is any prospect of playing in Europe next season as well.... which may make it even harder to sign any top defenders if current form continues.Fortunately for Utd the other usual European contender suspects have been inconsistent so far too.Looking at Utd's 12 fixtures from now till Xmas how many do Utd fans think they will actually win?

Why would Ronaldo comeback to a non-Champions league club? Maybe next year.

I thought it was Barstoneworth United and they tuned him down ?

(there's a nice reference, Michael Palin Ripping Yarns "I didn't go to Barstoneworth United on a free transfer for nothing")

i bet you see a worse tackle than that and no red card in the highlights

Its a strange one looks like he is trying to do a professional foul and then does a complete hack
Easy to see why it was red mind but hardly the worst tackle* we will ever see.

* I am not claiming that is an actual tackle
