Hi, I have Dewalt tools with slide battery’s, and a makita site radio, but the makita batteries I have are dying, so to save carting around dewalt chargers and batteries for my tools and makita batteries and charger for my radio, is it possible to use a dewalt battery in my makita radio, there are adaptors on eBay, but I don’t think I’d be able to close the battery door If using that option, I also noticed slide on power leads for dewalt batteries maybe I could solder the wires onto the terminals on the radio? Any ideas? Make sense?....I know I could a dewalt radio, but the makita radios sound great and are so durable, thanks in advance
Yeah I reckon you'd not be able to close the door. That actually affects the sound quality too I've found.
