Lyca Users Beware Bank Fraud

Recently I got a text from my bank - First Direct re an attempt by a company - Peruvian Connection to charge my Visa. Not trsting texts I phoned my bank. The text was from them. Card blocked. New card issued. Prior to signing up for a cheap Lyca sim I had used the same card for years with no issues with big reputable companies.

Seems I am not alone.
