Looks incredible but I didn't even know they were building this. Is it there for ever or just the Olympics.

Drac, the plan is to use it in London for a while before moving it to Peaslake.

There was a huge queue of suits at North Greenwich this morning waiting for their beano joyride. It hasn't broken down yet and seems to pulling in a few happy touristas.
The only advantage as far as I can see is that I can pop over to meet someone in Poplar more easily rather than going to Canary Wharf and getting the toy town choochoo.
The best bit was during construction when they had Europe's largest mobile crane to erect the pylons. Ooohhh- diggers and cranes.....
