Nice is the word.
My brother is in the car industry and is on the 80% of basic she mentions. Its pretty bad.

Who ever said that this stuff had to be dry and robot-like?! Like that. I think future business and reputations will be based on how companies react in times like these. Take note Mike Ashley.

We’ve got a car through Ling. She’s bonkers, but underneath the wacky website is a really good directory of cars/prices.

Putting that link on will probably reactivate her presence on the forum for a rematch with GeordieMick and Poopscoop. After all, what else has she got going on?

Good on yer Ling!

Top thing to do for your staff Ling. a lot more companies should follow your lead on this. They won’t though mores the pity.

Love that, loads of humour but full of information. Can be read wrong if you don't know the website but even so it's a million times better than I've seen from any other company in terms of treating the staff as humans.

I'm not in the market for a lease car but if I know someone who is I'll remind them of how she treated her staff over this and send them to her website. A LOT of companies are going to be on that naughty thread as ones to avoid due to their handling of this.

What is the legal threshold of "excessive"? Asking for a friend.

Legal consensus seems to be to ask the man pretending to read a newspaper on the backseat of the Clapham Omnibus.

You won’t persuade me that that is not a stupid way to deal with those companies. Its just so shortsighted.

Will that stand up in court?

Joy. Liking that she is being proactive and selling stuff now in order to survive long term.  The style is beautiful though, funny, informative and blunt

Everyone at my work has taken to signing off emails with 'Keep Safe' or similar.

I think I'm going to change to 'Swap hands at 99' like Ling
