Happy memories of driving through Braidwood and Bateman's Bay. Some superb nights out in Sydney and Melbourne. Lovely place. An odd place, but a lovely place.
Would love to help but my many, many photos aren't on shareable platform. Will see see what I can do. For me, the most mind-blowing place on the planet. By far.

Its a nice spot at monkey Mia. Didn't manage much biking on my travels round oz but did pickup a nice bloke on a bike that was hitch hiking. He'd fallen short whilst travelling on to met family so picked him up and dropped him somewhere near Apollo bay.

I remember going to see a band in Manly when I lived in Randwick. As we crossed the harbour at night I thought this is a million times better than going to Kentish Town on the Northern Line.
I absolutely love the place and feel a real connection to it. As a kid I would read any adventure story that involved the Outback.
Dawn in the Outback just as the birds start to sing and the sun starts to warm your back is something everyone should experience.
Often when waiting for everyone assemble for a ride on a sunday morning I would phone home . In the background I could hear Casualty on the telly and my mum telling me it was dark,raining and cold while I would be standing there in the warmth of an early morning sun. A wave of relief would wash over me to realise where I was and how lucky I was.
If you have kids, make sure they travel somewhere and do something before they settle down.
