Why is there no party called the Libertarian Socialist Party? Sounds like they would do quite well.

I'm a centrist which surprised me. Thought many of the questions were flawed and inviting a more left of centre responce (possibly).
Interesting to complete though.

It feels like it was put together by American sixth form students.

I'm under Social Libralism, and yet I'd be happy to put most of you up aganst the wall if push came to shove 😆

Doesn't mean you're not socialist, and frankly only a true liberal would care if the singular you was happy about it. 😉

Either this place place is a nest of anarchists or those questions were a bit simplistic. Funny that it didn't ask a question which required some thinking, like 'Do you agree that representative democracy is the best way of making macro-level decisions'.

Centrist

Crap questions though as forced to answer questions that make tills sense. Surprised that didn’t register libertarian and global views more.

I guess i'm not as much of an individual as i thought - Libertarian socialism for me as well.

Gonna try it again and go full "Daily Wail" on the answers and see what i am..... i wonder if it will label me as a C'nut

EDIT : Well it appears if i go rabid at the mouth right wing on the questions i end up with - Capitalist Fascism or Trumpian Democracy (my interpretation)

These sort of tests always give me a slightly more left wing attitude than I think actually have. I reckon I'm a wishy-washy liberal really.

Dunno if you're referring to me there but I'm firmly in the libertarian socialist (why not just call it anarchist?) camp. As for representative democracy? See the point above referring to the question about whether democracy is about more than decision making. It absolutely is more than decision making, as it should be an entire culture that respects and recognises the views of everyone on an equal basis. That's not what we have now.

I think there is often a tendency to associate two things which are not necessarily automatically connected. For example democracy is commonly thought of as right wing (except in America of course) and anarchy is commonly thought of as left wing.

I was a little conservative the first time. Went back and did it again. I think this is a true reflection....

You mean the profile of regular posters to political threads. Different the the site / magazine overall I’d say

I think this is sort of thing is pretty self selecting.

The swivelled eyed nutjobs probably think completing it involves taking part in a communist conspiracy.

And the hard core capitalists are too busy finding tax efficient instruments to waste time with this nonsense.

The exception that proves the rule. 🙂

At least we can say the test at least appears to be accurate.

Libertarian Socialism here too.

Strongly internationalist also - what was that about patriotism and scoundrels? The guy up there is soooo patriotic that he wants to leave if he has to pay a tiny bit more tax. 🙄

Pah - I'm a Libertarian Communist

(I can't be bothered going back to work out where I'm failing to be sufficiently libertarian)
