Any Leeds locals have any good suggestions for a nice Italian restaurant for me and Mrs Max tomorrow night? Staying in the City centre, ideally walking distance so we can have a festive drink or two

Salvo's in headingley used to be terrific.
Not been for years though.
Sous le nez as Italian as the eifel tower but really good. Salvos is or was ace but well out of the city center . I want to go to san Carlo but it was rammed last time we turned up on spec . Which was the day of bareneccesities link .
As Ton suggested San Carlos but if you want mediocre food that's over priced with poor service try Bibi's
Piccolinos is pretty good, Jamie's Italian, best is San Carlo though.
Best Italian is Livin Italy by the Canal. Enoteca style, good wine but a more limited menu.
Agree with the above, Jamies is quite good, San Carlo's is ace.
