Looking for a 2 seater leather sofa, corner if poss and maybe a footstool. No idea where to start, someone who can deliver to sw london. For a rental so mid range, the cheap ones are awful. Any advice appreciated.

Depends what style you're after, obviously, but I've had good service from https://www.oldbootsofas.com/

Londoners are mad for selling nearly new expensive sofas for buttons. I'm on the look out for a particular Bo Concept sofa - don't particularly want to spend £5k on one but they pop up in London hardly used for £300- £400 regularly on Gumtree and Ebay so its worth the fuel to drive down from Scotland to pick one up.

Whatever sofa you've got your eye on a particular model (particularly if its the top of or outside your budget) bide your time for a few weeks and see if something the same make/model pops up.

Personally I really don't like leather for sofas but at the price the come up I'd buy a leather one as its still a bargain even after paying to have one re-upholstered.

Harvey's (www.harveysfurniture.co.uk) are worth a look. I nearly bought from there as they seem much better quality than places like DFS.
Got a feeling this thread will attract spam!

If you're wanting new, I'd start looking for "faux leather" instead.

There's no way I'd buy new for a rental. Ebay every time

There's no way I'd buy leather for a rental, Ikea with washable fabric covers. They do leather though so might be worth a look
