The only novel written by Henri Alain-Fournier, who would later die in the trenches of WWI.
Been meaning to read this for [i]years[/i], and only got round to it last night - and now all I can think about is finding my way back to the 'lost domain'...

T'is good. First read it in the 80s. Have you tried "Novel with cocaine" by M Agayev?
