Recently had the hdd replaced and now every 20 seconds or so it emits a quiet but audible when working tick through the speakers
Its driving me insane !!!!!
Gonna hand it back to it but is it likely to be owt they can fix quick or is it a new mobo ? I have mo chance of getting it sorted in the next millenia if its a mobo - took me 6 months to get an hdd

Sure it's the speakers, and not the HDD? Some do this when they park.
As a test, try turning off power saving on the drive so it doesn't spin down. I could tell you how on a mac, not sure on win.
