ProCycling had him on the front cover for the second time in four issues, apparently (I read it in Smiths while killing time while my daughter was in a birthday party).
It sells mags.

plenty of riders whose pics will sell mags. But you'd have to be a pretty stupid editor not to go with the biggest news around. Which happens to be Lance's return.
